Storybox magazines, produced by Bayard Presse, are available on subscription in three editions. Storybox, aimed at three years and upwards, is a read-aloud book with facts and fun activities. For six to eight- year-olds, Adventure Box contains longer stories, nature topics and games to encourage independent reading. Discovery Box, aimed at eight to 12-year-olds, has nature, science, history, games, cartoons and quizzes.
The magazines are particularly suited to individual work, but stories or articles could be used in whole-class activities.
