This CD supplies 28 tracks with an hour’s playing time. Secular and spiritual numbers chase one another at a relentless canter, Santa and his reindeer run neck and neck with the infant Jesus and the angels, all of them backed by whooping electronic fanfares, synthetic-solemn organs and the tolling and tinkling of countless bells. It’s pretty cheap and it’s certainly cheerful.
