LogOn to success

LogOn Science’s new apps contain around 10,000 exam questions for AQA, Edexcel and OCR core and additional sciences.

Who created them?

A former deputy head of science, Marc Mellor, designed an internet-based homework application that marks pupils’ work automatically. He developed this into www.logonscience.com, where teachers can set up and monitor classes for any of the three main exam boards.

Why is it useful?

The apps - core biology, chemistry and physics, with additional biology, chemistry and physics - feature multiple-choice questions so that pupils can test their knowledge on the move. If they get an answer wrong, a help button reveals further revision notes to guide corrections. Pupils can track their progress with the statistics tool.
