Pupils might create a peer education project about the EU using the article and websites. Elements could include a basic truefalse quiz on the EU today (for KS3), assemblies on EU issues for KS4, media research for articles on the EU, and an “EU evolution” timeline corridor display. The School Council or KS5 students could arrange a debate based on a motion about the Euro, the pros and cons of EU membership, or the future of British identity within Europe. Consider self-assessment methods (NB: 3c of the Programmes of Study requires pupils to ‘reflect on the process of participation’).”
