The Christopher Tower Poetry Competition run by Christ Church College, Oxford is challenging full-and part-time students aged 16 to 18 to write a poem about “floods” by March 8. First, second and third prizes are pound;1,500, pound;750and pound;500. Winners’ schools and colleges also receive cash prizes.A new website is being developed to support poetry in secondary schools.
