Enter the TES competition on page 12 to win a set of the exciting books shortlisted for last year’s Aventis science prize. As part of the York Festival of Science and Technology 2006 on March 10-19, Science City York is holding a photography competition on the theme “Seeing the wonder of science”. Closes February 17. Categories for ages 16 and under and 17-18 are included in 2006 Visions of Science Young Photographer Awards, February to May. Sections include: action (a scientific process or event as it happens in the natural world); close-up (beyond the naked eye), and people (the impact of science, medicine and technology on people’s lives).
