If you can’t wait for the Edinburgh conference to get your creative juices flowing, there’s a new organisation for professionals committed to the creative use of digital technologies in teaching and learning. Creating Spaces is a network of independent professionals who represent themselves rather than their schools and organisations. They come from a range of backgrounds including: schools, hgher education and research; inspection and advisory services; educational publishing and software; and media and industry. So you don’t have to be a teacher but it certainly helps as education is central to Creating Space’s work. And you don’t have to be a technologist, but digital media is what brings all their creative interests together.
