Deaf Blogs has as its mission statement Decentralising Deaf Cyberspace - in other words, encouraging members of the deaf community to take advantage of a multi-user space to share ideas and promote online debate in near real time. It has already made links to users in places as far afield as Australia, France, Brazil, the Philippines and the US, and the subjects under discussion are both personal and political. There is also advice on where to find free software to set up your own blog or vlog (video blog).
