The Curriculum Bank writing activities follow the National Curriculum demands in writing for both key stages. They are carefully organised, with photocopiable worksheets and good lessn plans and they cover a wide range of purposes, styles and genres. A good investment.
The vocabulary photocopiables are similarly thorough. For each year there is a different theme, each based on the concept of exploration, and a “Word Explorer” booklet where children build up personal wordbanks. The main books include a “Treasure Test” on target words for each term.
