FRESH warnings about the dangers of drugs emerged this week. Young people who use cocaine and amphetamines could be increasing their chances of suffering a brain haemorrhage or stroke, according to doctors at the National Hspital of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
And a separate study by psychologists from Edgehill College in Ormskirk, suggests that ecstasy use causes irreversible damage to the brain’s ability to learn and think.
