A HEADTEACHER, school governor and class teacher face a Crown Court appearance over an incident in which children on a field trip were allegedly led down a railway track.

Governor Philip Ramsden, 40, and teacher Dawn Rankin, 25, from Fairways primary school, Stockport, are charged with trespassing, endangering a group of children by being n a line, and obstructing an engine using the track. Head Lynn Boyle, 41, of Cromley Road, Woodsmoor, Stockport, is charged with aiding or abetting, counselling or procuring the other two to trespass on the track, and with aiding or abetting Ms Rankin in endangering children. They are due to appear at Lancaster Crown Court on May 5.
