English nouns are on one side in colour, while the other language is on the reverse in black and white. In the German box, we get the makings of a good meal (die Kartoffel, das Ei, der Obstsaft), a sizeable menagerie (der Elefant, das Pferd, die Katze) and examples from home and school life, as well as clothes, transport and more. Other sets deal with major European languages, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Farsi, Somali, Urdu and Vietnamese.
