An updated version of the Bright Sparks Fashion Challenge is now available online. Activities can be tried in isolation or brought together as a term’s work, with the ultimate aim of dressing a card mannequin.
Children begin by investigating the properties of fabrics, exploring opportunities for using linguistic and mathematical skills while keeping their eyes and fingers active. Later, cards show them how to prepare a design specification and turn it into colourful reality.
