The Scottish Schools’ Football Association will not receive a windfall from the UEFA Champions’ League via the Scottish Football Association as hoped.
The SFA announced recently that it will receive pound;440,000 to invest in youth ootball after the European governing body split the profits from last season’s Champions’ League to its 51 member associations. But the money will be given to the Scottish Premier League teams for their youth programmes.
