Gaelic lines lift a Queen

(Photograph) - Nina Matheson, a 17-year-old pupil from Tain Royal Academy, is one of only nine young people from across the UK to receive a medal for her entry in the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Poetry Competition.

The poem, one of 4,000 submitted, was in Gaelic and her medal will be presented by the Queen at a reception in Buckingham Palace next Tuesday.
