Gcse Results Day Teachers

The manila envelopes have been put away, the free Nandos have been redeemed and teachers, students and parents across the UK can go home knowing that GCSE results day is finally all over.

It's now time to relax and embrace a bit of silliness - that's why the Tes team created the #changeafilmtobeaboutGCSEs hashtag on Twitter today. The responses were certainly creative, to say the least.

Here are a few of our favourites:

We're still singing The Shallows:

star

It goes at Progress 88mph:

Back to the future

Just zombelieve in yourself:

resident evil

How do you say "I'm absolutely terrified" in French?:

nightmare

That would be a vastly different film:

fifty shades

Some people really went for it:

hangover

For those who feel like the Fogg has lifted:

around the world

If you're a bird, I'm a bird:

notebook

We were really plumbing the depths for this one:

Aquaman

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a re-mark:
