This is an outstanding book. It offers a lucid and comprehensive account of genetics across all A-level specifications - but more than that. The authors get on with telling a glorious biological story, supporting this with clearly developed arguments and discussions, crystal clear diagrams and well chosen photographs. Great care has been taken in every aspect of the production of this beautiful book.
Each chapter closes with suggestions for further reading, with web addresses (although some are only accessible by subscription), and questions, many drawn from across the examination boards. Answers are not supplied in the book.
Multiple copies are essential for the school library.
