Good wishes were arriving at the office of Phil Hope, the skills minister, this week after news that he has been diagnosed with cancer. A spokesman for the Department for Education and Skills confirmed Mr Hope is undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s disease. He is continuing with his ministerial duties.
