This is Google Earth

Everyone knows about Google, but not everyone is familiar with Google Earth. It combines the power and speed of Google searching with imagery from satellites and maps to provide a near-instant portrait of most corners of the world. A free version of the software for Google Earth PRO is available to schools in return for voluntary participation in a global forum of educators collaborating for the benefit of their students.

Users of the software can “fly” to their school from outer space, tilt and rotate views of their neighbourhood and then share the results with other learners 10,000 miles away. To apply for a free licence or sign up for a trial with Google Earth PRO, visit the website: earth.google.com
