AS THE Government announces lessons for children in divorce, researchers at Leeds University reveal that young people who have experienced parental separation are often more mature, realistic andindependent. Dr Bren Neale, one of the report’s authors, said that while divorce was often traumatic for children, the experience taught them to be more reflective about relationships.
