ITALY: The education ministry has promised an investigation to identify the mole who is using the Internet to help exam cheats. Only minutes after the first paper (Italian) of this year’s school-leaving exam had started, advice on how to answer it could be found on three websites. Students are thought to have used mobile phones smuggled into exam rooms to access the information. The same thing happened the next day with Greek and maths. The consumer group Codacons has threatened legal action.
