It’s one step forewords, two steps back ..

Everyone makes mistakes, sure, but I did find it amusing that in Quentin Blake’s letter complaining about the spelling of a French word by a TES reviewer, he mentioned writing a “forward” to someone’s book (Letters, October 1). I used to know this as a “foreword”. When did this change?
