Eighteen dinosaurs, many robotic, will be on display in their natural habitats, complete with sound effects and smells in “Dinosaurs: the next generation” at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds, from February 13 to May 4.
One exhibit, the Utahraptor - a carnivore from the late Jurassic period - has never been on display in the UK before. CD-Roms and videos will provide background information.
Visitors will be able to dig for fossils and assemble a dinosaur skeleton and a model land-scape with toy dinosaurs. For information tel: 0990 106666 or 0113 2201888.
