Teachers of modern languages are always on the lookout for new ways of presenting the same material and a quiz could be one solution. For example, to revise the language taught in a unit on home and family, you could set questions along these lines:

* What is the name of the president of France?

* How many children does Tony Blair have?

* Where does Madonna live?

* Who is married to David Beckham?

The only problem is pitching it right - general knowledge among teenagers and adults are two very different things. Perhaps you could enlist the support of someone from another class to vet the questions?
