Building on the success of its Homework High website for 9 to 16-year-olds, 4Learning (Channel 4‘s education division) this month launched its Amazing Grades website for 16 to 19-year-olds.
Created with teacher site-editors, it’s a web directory of the best sites for students (AAS level, Scottish Highers, or International Baccalaureate) and covers biology, chemistry, classics, design and technology, economics, English, French, government and politics, history, history of art, ICT, Italian, maths, physics, RE, Russian, Spanish, German, geography, and music.
Subscribing costs pound;10 per annum for a multi-user licence and pound;25 per head for a single-user. There is, however, a 14-day free-trial period. School, college and LEA bulk access costs far less.
