Scotland’s first interactive life science centre, Sensation, in Dundee, combines fun and learning with the accent on the senses. Exhibits include giant model heads, ears and eyes. “Visitors can crawl through a leaf, climb up a giant nose, find out what it’s like to have a bird’s-eye view of the world or ty carrying out their own keyhole surgery,” says education manager Alice Hague.
School visits include a 20 to 30-minute presentation on themes including sound and light.
