For non-denominational schools, there are more assembly ideas at www.spolem.co.uk, together with resources for all age groups and a range of subjects. The PSHE section has links to sites such as the US Centre for Disease Control, with information on a healthy lifestyle for children. The largest selection is about A-level and GCSE biology. The links are a mixture of lesson plans and general sites. “Ducks Unlimited” - a site about wetlands and wildlife - provides downloadable activities on ecology for KS2 to KS4. Most are American-based, but this site could be used to source information for lessons as it is well organised.
