Loans and savings, credit and budgeting, insurance and consumers’ rights - financial capability is vitally important for young people but not easy to teach. Pfeg - the Personal Finance Education Group - is an educational charity offering advice and support for secondary schools. Learning Money Matters is pfeg’s latest initiative. Consultants will work with senior staff andor classroom teachers for up to three days in school or provide short training courses, suggestions by email and sessions at staff meetings. Teachers of citizenship, PSHE and maths are especially invited.
