A single annual fee is the key feature of Microsoft’s new software licensing scheme for British schools. The company says it will make budgeting and administration simpler, as well as dealing with concerns over legality. Telford and Wrekin LEA is the first to sign up to School Agreement. The venture, Microsoft’s first group licencing scheme for schools, is based on an annual charge per computer and is available to single schools or authorities.
