Anne Milton Has Given Her Backing To The Tes #inspiringapprentices Campaign

The apprenticeships minister has given her backing to the Tes #InspiringApprenticeships campaign.

Launched yesterday on the eve of National Apprenticeship Week, the #InspiringApprentices campaign aims to help teachers and those working across education to understand what today’s apprenticeships are actually like and the broad range of opportunities that are available at various levels.

Apprenticeships and skills minister Anne Milton said: “I am thrilled Tes is launching a new campaign to highlight the many opportunities on offer for apprenticeships.”

She added: “There has been a growing wave of enthusiasm for apprenticeships across the country with everyone realising what a great opportunity they offer - to earn while you learn from the equivalent of GCSE up to degree level.

‘Big changes to apprenticeships’

“We have made big changes to apprenticeships and National Apprenticeship Week is a chance for apprentices, parents, teachers and employers to show just what a great opportunity they offer to everyone.”

This week, Tes will publish a new account every day by an apprentice telling their own story, and, following National Apprenticeship Week, #InspiringApprentices will continue as a weekly blog.
