CHILDREN should be discouraged from using mobile phones because of the risk to their health, a Government taskforce has recommended.

The Stewart Committee, which was set up in response to concerns about the radiation produced by mobilephones said

children’s health is more likely to suffer because of their thinner skulls. The committee wants a campaign to inform parents and children of the risks and prevent new base stations being built in school grounds.
