At KS3, simple pen-portraits provide a vehicle for practising physical descriptions, birthdays, nationalities, leisure interests and more. KS4 students can produce more sophisticated text incorporating adjectives, adverbs, tenses and conjunctions. Budding musicians could create original music with lyrics written by their classmates.
