It may be causing agony in Whitehall, but the introduction of the euro is already a reality in many classrooms. Put your children one step ahead of the Treasury mandarins by letting them play Euro Snap. They will need to match unpredictable totals of money, so that, for example, two E20 notes, a E5 note and some coins are equated with a E50 note. Players who identify the colours of the notes will be at an advantage. The same cards can also be used for a game of Pairs. Euro Snap costs pound;3.99 from The Green Board Company.
