Helen Young, from The Friary School in Lichfield, received a national award for teaching excellence from the Royal Geographical Society.

The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction has lept to the aid of the Connecting Classrooms cultural exchange project. Pupils from St Peter’s CofE Primary in Cumbria (above) visited a school in Maipu, near the Chilean capital of Santiago, where both enjoyed donated Peter Rabbit dolls and books.
