Let’s face it, a great many English teachers will not approve of study notes but a great many students will use them. For instance, with Orwell’s 1984 students are given a plot summary, character profiles, metaphor analysis, theme analysis, top 10 quotes and a biography of Orwell. There is nothing here that will do any harm and much that will do good. The site is aimed at US students but many of the authors that are frequently used on examination courses are here.
