Two teachers who faced a joint disciplinary hearing of England’s General Teaching Council have been found not guilty of unacceptable professional conduct.
The case against Toni Redmond and Anthony Sparks, from Plessington Catholic high school technology college in the Wirral centred around a text message.
Mrs Sparks admitted that the message from Mr Sparks, which was seen by three pupils, could have had a sexual connotation. She accepted it was inappropriate to have left her telephone on and accessible to pupils.
