Tony Evans, head of the Portsmouth Grammar School and this year’s chair of the Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference, is to be head of King’s College School, Wimbledon, London SW19, from September 1 on the retirement of Robin Reeve.
Anthony Seldon, deputy head of St Dunstan’s College, London SE6, is to be head of Brighton College from September succeeding John Leach who will be retiring after 10 years in the post.
David Derbyshire, a housemaster and head of politics at Cranleigh School, Surrey, will become head of Denstone College, Staffordshire, on January 1. He will succeed Hugh Carson who is to become head at Malvern College, Hereford and Worcester.
