Anthony Seldon, deputy head of St Dunstan’s College, London SE6, is to be head of Brighton College from September succeeding John Leach who will be retiring after 10 years in the post.
David Derbyshire, a housemaster and head of politics at Cranleigh School, Surrey, will become head of Denstone College, Staffordshire, on January 1. He will succeed Hugh Carson who is to become head at Malvern College, Hereford and Worcester.
Karen Woods, head of news, Ocean Radio Group, has been appointed a governor of Highbury College, Portsmouth, for a three-year term from September 1.
Eenasul Fateh, former director of the Neighbourhood Youth and Community Development Project and now a freelance consultant, has been appointed executive director for The Leaveners Arts Base in succession to Alec Davison.
