Planning

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/planning
If planning is the last thing on your mind and you would rather look forward to a long summer of sleep or hedonism, or both, the following sites will help. Dates, line-ups and venues for some of the world’s best music festivals can be found at www.virtualfestivals.com.

The site has reviews of bands appearing at festivals - although these tend to take the form of fan mail rather than in-depth reports. It also has competitions for tickets and provides links to the official festival sites.

There’s up-to-date news on the latest line-ups and the site has just posted news that Rod Stewart has been signed up for Glastonbury 2002. See the review pages in next week’s TES for the best children’s festivals.
