Timmergreens Primary in Arbroath, Angus, won the Wrigley’s British Primary Schools cricket tournament against the cream of England’s young players.

After winning the Scottish title - beating Lomond Primary, Helensburgh, in the final - the team travelled to Trent ridge and beat The Meadows Primary, from the England East region, in the national final.

“There were 12 English schools, two Welsh and one each from Scotland and Ireland at the finals. It was a great achievement to win,” says headteacher Gregor Robson.
