More than 18,000 children across the country will gather for free concerts next week as this year’s Primary Proms get under way.

Starting on Monday, pupils aged four to 11 will be given the chance to hear live music in major concert halls in London, Birmingham and Chester.

The proms are organised by Music for Youth - an educational charity that provides free access to educational and performance opportunities through a series of festivals and concerts throughout the year.
