A LINCOLN sixth-former who died while working part-time at a restarant was unlawfully killed, a jury has decided.

An inquest into the death of 17-year-old Mark Thorne heard he died during his shift at a Fatty Arbuckle’s restaurant in Lincln because of faulty wiring on a plate-warming machine.

Inspectors found that 11 out of 56 other appliances at the restaurant, were faulty. The Fatty Arbuckle chain has gone into liquidation and all its branches are now closed.
