JAPAN: An elementary school teacher has been arrested for allegedly running over his principal in Yotsukaido near Tokyo. It followed an argument as the teacher postd a notice condemning the use of Japan’s national anthem and flag in schools, which many teachers oppose because of links with Japan’s militaristic past.
