Is it too much to ask for a decent lunch? Hunting around the high street is not always practical and anyway I am sick of sandwiches. I want a canteen that will provide wholesome, nourishing, well-prepared food. Why am I offered, fare that I wouldn’t even give my cat?
Colleges must realise the importance of a good mid-day meal. The correlation between what we eat and how we think is indisputable. College catering is usually by contract so I’d simply put in a vociferous complaint. Can you get up a petition? That might result in the contract coming up for tender. Get the student union behind you and lobby for a greater say in your nutritional needs.
