Do subject co-ordinators receive a management point?
From this month onwards, there will be no more new appointments with management points. Whether a post will receive a teaching and learning responsibility payment, that has replaced the old system of management points, will be decided as part of a school’s staffing strategy. The same post in different schools may be funded at different levels as a result of local decision-making. Hopefully, schools will still make it clear in advertisements what type of salary and allowances any post will receive.
