One of the perks of being a teacher is knowing exactly when your summer holiday will be. Interhome, the rental specialist, is offering TES readers discounts of between 8 and 25 per cent on a choice of more than 1,000 holiday homes across Europe for bookings made before the end of November.

Other offers include a saving of pound;300 on a hilltop villa with pool (pictured), 300 metres from the sea on the Cote d’Azur, that sleeps eight for pound;2,805 for seven nights (ref F8635105); or save pound;176 and pay pound;466 for a holiday in an apartment for five with mountain views and use of an indoor pool in the beautiful Swiss resort of Lotschental, part of a Unesco world heritage area (ref C3917 651a).
