THE Government is investing pound;60 million in school science in an attempt to bring laboratories up-to-date and tackle deficiencies in equipment.
Jacqui Smith, education junior minister, said the mney will come from the capital modernisation fund over the next two years. It follows pound;37m provided through the New Deal for Schools, which funded 151 projects for improving laboratories.
