Top international speakers are lined up for this year’s Scottish Learning Festival (SETT 2005) in Glasgow. Heading the bill to talk about creativity is Sir Ken Robinson, who last year held an audience of 1,500 US teachers entranced for an hour and half, and left to a heartfelt standing ovation.

Other speakers include: Professor Guy Claxton, one of the UK’s foremost thinkers in creativity; Marc Prensky, who works on learning with digital games; and Dr Chris Yapp, a senior consultant with HP Services. There will be more than 100 seminars spread over the two days. Attendance at curriculum seminars can earn teachers professional development certification.
