Key stage 2 children have the chance to impress the expected 200,000 visitors to this summer’s Hampton Court Flower Show by designing a cover for a Christian Aid leaflet to be distributed at its garden, Seeds of Hope.
They will need to show that the garden is about fair trade, illustrating how Senegalese market gardeners are undercut by growers from the world’s more prosperous regions. The winner will get a VIP trip to the show and pound;50 of vouchers for their school. Closing date is March 15.
