CSV London Media is part of an in-house media division which specialises in social action broadcasting. It now adds Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and SADiE digital technology to its range of training and broadcasting services. It also has its own radio studio, which is ISDN-linked.
The ISDN is a digital telephone line which produces high-quality speech and sound at the receiving end and filters out background noise and interference. When doing live broadcasts, this will enable clients to get their messages across clearly to more than 100 local radio stations nationwide.
Organisations wishing to record material can also take advantage of SADiE recording. Traditionally, sound has been prepared for broadcast on multi-track analogue tapes - a time-consuming way to edit.
Using SADiE, the sound appears on a PC in pictorial form. Unwanted background noise can be identified and removed. This system also enables the message to be repackaged without loss of quality.
