Video clips, sound samples and teaching notes are used to illustrate how Andrew Diey, lead sound designer at Alchemy Audio Lab, employs sound to accompany and enhance visual media, such as video or film. Six digital video clips and animations are supplied, first without any sound and then with sound added. Curriculum materials on the CD-Rom are appropriate to key stage 3, but should also be of special interest to GCSE students studying music and film. All material on the CD is copyright-free and users will also have free access to the Sound2Picture website, which contains extensive teacher’s notes. Want to keep reading for free?
